Who this notice covers

This notice applies to Understand Sleep Apnea, part of the independent Understand Living project. Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent to hello@understandliving.com.

Information you choose to provide

• An email address when requesting a guide, saved-result link or email updates.
• Self-check answers and a result when using the educational self-check.
• Optional profile information you decide to add.
• Consent and communication-preference records.

How information is used

• Deliver a requested guide or saved-result link.
• Provide features you ask to use and maintain their security.
• Send marketing email only where the required permission has been given.
• Measure and improve the service where analytics permission has been given.
• Maintain consent, suppression, security and audit records.

Service providers

We use specialist service providers for website hosting, secure data storage, email delivery, analytics and maps or location search. They process information only for the relevant service and subject to appropriate controls.

We do not sell self-check answers or provide them to advertising platforms for personalised advertising.

Your choices and rights

You can change cookie choices using Privacy settings in the footer and unsubscribe from marketing using the link in an email. Depending on the law that applies, you may also request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability.

Important pre-launch note

The project’s formal operating structure is still being established. This notice will be expanded with the operator’s full legal details and any required international-transfer and retention information before commercial launch.
